BUSINESS PURPOSE
BORDERS SPORTS RING, acting as an agent for its members, aims to sustain and improve the financial, business and sporting-recreational viability of its members by:
Providing new sources of finance through co-operative self-help initiatives.
Negotiating competitive prices for members’ inputs by pooling members’ requirements and through BSR and other associated Rings’ co-ordination and payment systems.
Assisting in obtaining best value for money by linking Borders and nation wide sports clubs’ commonly held interests.
Enhancing opportunities for healthy lifestyles and lifestyle choices for everyone living in the Borders.
Contributing to the development of all sports, leisure and cultural activities in a wider context.
